Congratulations to Fred Lugo who received the Phill Parmer Volunteer Service Award from CAPCOG (Capital Area Council of Governments).

Fred was nominated and received the award for his years of work on the Aging Advisory Council (since 1997), his volunteer work with many non-profit organizations over the years, and his general service to the aging population in the region.

The Award is named after Mr. Phill Parmer, who was a long term appointee from Llano County to the Aging Advisory Committee. He served until he was 95 years old.
