Trinity Center grew from the concern of parishioners of St. David’s Episcopal Church for people experiencing homelessness, their downtown “neighbors,” who were living in shelters or on the streets near the church. Trinity Center was founded by volunteers and is based on a model of action through volunteerism.
Trinity Center is happy to announce their Enhanced Cooling Center begins today! They will be extending their hours from 1pm-7pm, Monday-Thursday. This program will continue through the end of September. Fridays they will only be open from 9am-1pm.
During these extended hours, they will continue to provide their basic services, while also expanding their offerings. They will be providing up to 20 showers during extended hours, day-sleep opportunities throughout the afternoon, and a 4pm meal from various providers and volunteers.
